Sewer and Drain Cleaning Services

Rooter/Cable Service – Using sewer cables w/blade rotating through your pipes; the blade dislodges sludge buildup due to a combination of grease, soap and certain food particles usually opening only part of the pipe and allowing the water to drain.

Jet Service – Using high-pressure water jetting equipment, we can safely and effectively scour your line bringing it back to near original capacity.

Sewer Camera Inspection & Location – Using state of the art sewer video equipment, we can provide a live visual inspection of your drain or sewer system allowing you to pinpoint problem areas (video taping available).

Bio-Clean – It is a safe, effective, and economical drain/sewer treatment system. Bio-Clean produces bacteria that ‘eat away’ at the grease, food, hair, soap film and all the organic wastes that tend to clog your drains. Monthly treatments of Bio-Clean for each of your drains are recommended for great long term results.

RootX – This is a tree root application system. RootX foams on contact with water to kill roots, inhibit regrowth, and restore pipe flow capacity. RootX will warranty that any line treated with RootX will not plug or backup due to a living tree root obstruction for a period of 12 months after application. Annual treatments are highly recommended for the prevention of root regrowth. This annual treatment should be done by a trained professional technician.

How did my drain/sewer line get blocked?

There are many ways that your drain lines and/or sewer lines can get blocked? The most common include the following:

Drains:
Hair, Soap Film, Grease Buildup, Foreign Objects, Food Particles and Other Organic Waste Deposits.

Sewers:
Foreign Objects, Organic Waste Deposits & Buildup, Tree Roots, Broken, Collapsed or Shifting Pipe(s), Frozen Sewer Lines.

What are my options?

The biggest concern that a home owner has is the prevention of this blockage from happening again. Depending on your individual situation, there are solutions for all types of blockage. Along with those solutions, preventative measures MUST be taken in order to ensure that these blockages don’t reoccur in the future. The following explains some of most common situations.

Foreign objects have blocked my drain or sewer line.

Immediate Solution: The proper solution in these cases is to use a rooter to clear the blockage.

Prevention: To avoid this type of blockage in the future NEVER use a sink or toilet as a garbage. Don’t flush dental floss, facial tissue, feminine hygiene products, or paper towels! Also, grease should never be placed down a drain. Awareness to what goes down your drains can save you money and problems.

Hair, grease buildup, food particles, and other organic deposits have clogged my drain.

Immediate Solution: The proper solution in these cases is to use a rooter or jetter to clear the obstruction and/or blockage.

Prevention: Again, refrain from placing improper items down the drain. For ongoing care and prevention, it is recommended that you treat your system with Bio-Clean. Bio-Clean is Safe, Effective, and Economical. With the help of enzymes, Bio-Clean produces bacteria that “eat away” at the grease, food, hair, soap film and all the organic wastes that tend to clog your drains. For positive long term results, a monthly treatment of Bio-Clean for each of your drains is highly recommended.

My sewer line has collapsed or is broken. What now?

Immediate Solution: As they age, sewer pipes can separate or crack due to ground shifting, heaving, or simple deterioration of the clay tile pipe. When a rooter gets caught up or retrieves clay when pulled back, it is a good indication that there is a break in the sewer line. At this point it is highly recommended to conduct a video inspection of the line to verify the break and determine the location of the break with the camera locating system. Knowing exactly where the break is located can save thousands of dollars in excavation work. Next, in order to prevent future problems, the sewer line should be replaced or “re-lined”. Without replacing the broken line, you will continue to have sewer line blockage and backup problems.

My sewer system is backed up because it is frozen!

Immediate Solution: One solution is to thaw the sewer line out by using a jetter with warm water.

Prevention: Prevention in this case can be expensive. The sewer line may be dug up and re-installed deeper in the ground. Also, some insulation of the ground surface could be helpful as well.

When cleaning my sewer, tree roots were discovered.

Immediate Solution: The proper solution in these cases is to use a large rooter to cut through the root growth that has penetrated the pipe. Depending on the amount of roots that have been pulled back, a sewer camera inspection may be recommended. This would more clearly show the extent of the problem and would identify if there are any breaks in the line.

Prevention: Cutting through the roots with a rooter actually promotes new growth of the root system that has penetrated the pipe. A RootX application is highly recommended to stop the growth of the penetrating roots. RootX foams on contact with water to kill roots, inhibit regrowth, and restore pipe flow capacity. RootX will warranty that any line treated with RootX will not plug or backup due to a living tree root obstruction for a period of 12 months after application. It is recommended that you have this application done annually to prevent reoccurring root problems with your sewer into the future.
